A LETTER FROM THE EDITOR-IN-CHIEFWe’ve stopped short of creating a strict “world” theme for the issue, mainly because the world is such a big place and the issues affecting LGBT+ people are so varied that we could never do this justice. I also don’t want the challenges faced by LGBT+ people in different parts of the world to be ghettoised in one single issue of Attitude. TERRELL CARTERWith season four of smash TV show Empire well under way, we can’t keep our eyes off newest series regular Terrell Carter. He first showed up on the hit drama as a guest character in season three, playing gay love interest Warren, and has been bumped up to a cast regular for the current run, which premiered in September. The 6ft 5in demigod, originally from Buffalo, New York, blasted on to American prime-time TV back in September 2011 when he made judge Paula Abdul blush with his silky velvet tones on the US version of The X Factor.
